With Drake and the Weeknd transforming Toronto from an underlooked Canadian metropolis to one of the hottest music cities in the world, Patrick McGuire and VICE Canada produced a landmark feature-length documentary about a handful of some of the city's most promising rap talent.

Featured heavily are Pressa, a young rapper who performed his first live shows in Europe with Drake, but is facing serious charges in Toronto for violent allegations. 

There's CMDWN, a duo by way of Toronto and Atlanta who bring a super fun turn-up to the city and pack shows while doing it.

The film also spends ample time with Friyie, a young rapper who gets his first opportunity at major league shine from Floyd Mayweather, on the eve of his historically sensational fight with Conor McGregor.

Also featured is the PRIME Collective, Jazz Cartier, and Big Lean.

This film premiered at Hot Docs in Toronto.
